Academy Females Champions
Congratulations to our Academy Females on their playoff championship win on Monday night! The girls played a complete game on both sides of the ball beating Dell Mechanical 6-1 in the final. In doing so, the girls have won the double (league and playoffs) once again.
Thank you to all who came out to support the team Monday night, and congratulations girls, you are simply the best!

Superior Rush FC is hosting a Referee Entry Level course. This course is open to everyone. The fee will be $50 for Superior Rush FC members and $100 for non-members. Use the QR code to find more information and registration for the the course on the Ontario Soccer website. When selecting the coarse please select Lakehead Express (Superior Rush FC old name) There are two parts to the course, first you must complete the 9 SmarterU modules from Canada Soccer (there is fee for this that goes directly to Canada Soccer), them you must attend the practical portion of the course on Saturday October 3rd from 9am to 5pm at Soccer Northwest Office. Once you complete the course, you will qualified to 11v11 and 9v9 games.

Congratulations to our Academy Females who were crowned LU Invitational Women's League champions last night in a thrilling 1-0 win over LU Blue! Milla Goodman scored the game winning goal and Ava Bliss earned the shutout to win the inaugural league championship. The evening capped off a fantastic season for the girls who recently merged and had to overcome their own adversity throughout this past year.
