A great night for Rush women's soccer last night as our Academy Females beat Thunder Bay Impact 4-1 to win the Thunder Bay Women's League playoff championship! Not all was lost for Impact though (which is made up almost entirely of graduated Rush/Lakehead Express rep players) as they took home the silverware for winning the league championship! Rush soccer continues to dominate the Thunder Bay women's soccer landscape with two more championships! What a weekend for our Excel Males and Females in Appleton, Wisconsin! After a successful Day One with both teams going 2 and 0, both teams followed that up with another perfect record on Day Two. The girls started their day with a very tough 1-0 win over United FC from Iowa who also had a perfect record going into the third game, and then completed their perfect record with a 6-0 win over River Surge FC. The boys had to dig in their heels with two tough games where they were physically outmatched, but they let their ball movement do the talking with a 4-1 win over the Madison 56ers SC and then a gritty 4-2 win over Middleton United who were also undefeated going into the 4th game. Both teams end the weekend with a perfect 4 and 0 record and some great memories to cap off the 2025 outdoor season. Congratulations to our Academy Males & Jr Academy Females for winning the Tonka Splash tournament this past weekend in Minnetonka! The Tonka Splash is quickly becoming one of the premiere tournaments in the Midwest, but many games and divisions were cancelled due to weather. Of the 6 teams involved, only 4 got to play. The Academy Females narrowly missed out on the championship game, and the Jr Academy Males would have played in the finals had there been one for their division. All in all, it was a fantastic weekend with a second gold medal for the Jr Academy Females in 2 consecutive tournaments, and 2 gold medals for the Academy Males in 3 consecutive finals. Congratulations to Claudia Galle who will be travelling to the Las Vegas Players Showcase as part of the Rush Select Program 2009 Girls team. Players from all around #RushNation will travel to Las Vegas March 13-17 to showcase their skills in front of over 300+ college coaches. The Jr Academy Females are U13 Girls Division Champions in the Golden Boy Tournament. They won 2-1 against their hometown rivals. Well done ladies!

Exciting times!! Recently, our incredible players took part in the North Alliance Rush Select (NARS) tryouts, and they absolutely crushed it! NARS is where four top-tier Rush clubs—Superior Rush FC, Twin Cities Rush, United Rush, and Wisconsin West Rush—join forces, representing the best of the Midwest Region. This collaboration is all about giving our talented players the chance to shine on bigger stages and compete in the National Academy League within their age groups. Congratulations goes out to our Jr. Academy Females on winning the Midwest Rush Cup in Chicago this past weekend! The girls played some incredible soccer that caught the eye of a number of coaches, spectators and organizers, and finished the weekend with an undefeated record, beating Chicago Rush in the final in a 9 goal thriller that saw Claudia Galle score the game winning goal with 2 minutes left in the match! Special thanks goes out to the 2 guest players from Missouri Rush and 2 from United Rush who fit right in with the girls both on and off the field! The girls will now wait to see who gets selected to the 2009 and 2008 Rush National Select teams that will travel to the Visit Raleigh Showcase in December in one of the largest College Showcases in North America.
