Academy Females Win Thunder Bay Women's Soccer League
The Academy Females defeated the Thunder Bay Chill 4-2 to the win the Division 1 title in the Thunder Bay Women's Soccer League. Girls went undefeated all season and this is the second title in back to back seasons. Congratulations!!
Congratulations to our Academy Males & Jr Academy Females for winning the Tonka Splash tournament this past weekend in Minnetonka! The Tonka Splash is quickly becoming one of the premiere tournaments in the Midwest, but many games and divisions were cancelled due to weather. Of the 6 teams involved, only 4 got to play. The Academy Females narrowly missed out on the championship game, and the Jr Academy Males would have played in the finals had there been one for their division. All in all, it was a fantastic weekend with a second gold medal for the Jr Academy Females in 2 consecutive tournaments, and 2 gold medals for the Academy Males in 3 consecutive finals.
