Champions Showcase in Ottawa

This past weekend, our Under 17 Females attended the Champions Showcase in Ottawa, Ontario. Despite playing in the U17 division, this team was made up of three 2009's, five 2008's, one 2007 and only six 2006's! Against the odds, the girls played brilliantly, displaying a very attractive and enjoyable brand of football and caught the eye of many university and college coaches. The girls ended their round robin play with a recorded of 3-1 with 22 goals for and 6 against, putting them against the Milton U17G in the final. The girls narrowly lost 1-0 in that game despite hitting a post, but again played incredibly well! The weekend ended with a number of players being talked to be university and college coaches who were amazed at the level they displayed given their age. We couldn't be more proud of these young ladies and the way they represented not only themselves, but their Club and their city! A big thanks also goes out to the parents who helped make this weekend an unforgettable one... Go Rush!!

Thunder Bay Women's League Champions

A great night for Rush women's soccer last night as our Academy Females beat Thunder Bay Impact 4-1 to win the Thunder Bay Women's League playoff championship! Not all was lost for Impact though (which is made up almost entirely of graduated Rush/Lakehead Express rep players) as they took home the silverware for winning the league championship! Rush soccer continues to dominate the Thunder Bay women's soccer landscape with two more championships! Double Champions at Tribute Cup

What a weekend for our Excel Males and Females in Appleton, Wisconsin! After a successful Day One with both teams going 2 and 0, both teams followed that up with another perfect record on Day Two. The girls started their day with a very tough 1-0 win over United FC from Iowa who also had a perfect record going into the third game, and then completed their perfect record with a 6-0 win over River Surge FC. The boys had to dig in their heels with two tough games where they were physically outmatched, but they let their ball movement do the talking with a 4-1 win over the Madison 56ers SC and then a gritty 4-2 win over Middleton United who were also undefeated going into the 4th game. Both teams end the weekend with a perfect 4 and 0 record and some great memories to cap off the 2025 outdoor season. Rush Teams Do Well at Tonka Splash

Congratulations to our Academy Males & Jr Academy Females for winning the Tonka Splash tournament this past weekend in Minnetonka! The Tonka Splash is quickly becoming one of the premiere tournaments in the Midwest, but many games and divisions were cancelled due to weather. Of the 6 teams involved, only 4 got to play. The Academy Females narrowly missed out on the championship game, and the Jr Academy Males would have played in the finals had there been one for their division. All in all, it was a fantastic weekend with a second gold medal for the Jr Academy Females in 2 consecutive tournaments, and 2 gold medals for the Academy Males in 3 consecutive finals.
