Rush Teams Do Well at Tonka Splash
Congratulations to our Academy Males & Jr Academy Females for winning the Tonka Splash tournament this past weekend in Minnetonka! The Tonka Splash is quickly becoming one of the premiere tournaments in the Midwest, but many games and divisions were cancelled due to weather. Of the 6 teams involved, only 4 got to play. The Academy Females narrowly missed out on the championship game, and the Jr Academy Males would have played in the finals had there been one for their division. All in all, it was a fantastic weekend with a second gold medal for the Jr Academy Females in 2 consecutive tournaments, and 2 gold medals for the Academy Males in 3 consecutive finals. Congratulations to all players, families and coaches for a fantastic weekend and making Rush Nation proud!
